How to make Globe Wimax faster or speed up Globe Wimax.

Globe Telecom offers WiMax (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) service with speeds of up to:

512 kbps for P795 per month
1 mbps at P995 per month

Globe Wimax is available at selected areas in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Dr. TCP Globe Wimax tweak will not in any way affect the unit, we will just increase the TCP Receive Window (RWin) of your operating system to match with the maximum segment size (MSS) of data that Globe Wimax can process.

1. Download DrTCP from this link.

2. Open DrTCP and put the following values:

TCP Receive Window = 994048
Windows Scaling = Yes
Time Stamping = No
Selective Acks = Yes
Dial Up (RAS) MTU = leave it blank
Path MTU Discovery = Yes
Black Hole Detection = No
Max. Duplicate ACKs = leave it blank
TTL = leave it blank
Adapter Settings (select your LAN adapter) = 1452

3. Click Save, Exit and OK.

4. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Notes:

Works on Windows 2000, XP and Windows 7.
Don’t mix up with any other tweak.
Fresh operating system install is highly recommended.

Some guys managed to do it! Finally there is a solution to play “backup” games on PS3. This is not usual modchip method but, instead it’s just “plug and play” called PSjailbreak. A Cheap way of obtaining an iPhone 4, i recently saw this in Apple Singapore website. If you convert 1 SGD is equal to around P33 . So a 16GB iphone 4 will only cost around 29,304 pesos while the 32GB will only be around 34, 584 pesos. Which is a lot cheaper compared to the overpriced iphone 4′s being sold in the Philippines.

Although we have to wait for 3 weeks which is not bad.

Also iPad and iPad 3g are available and again a lot cheaper.

Yesterday i was asked to prove that the iPhone 4 are existing in the Philippines and that they could run on Globe Sim Card. Gladly i obtain photos of the iPhone 4 not just one but 2 that were bought in UK.
