Getting your paypal and Eon card to work

June 5th, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in PinoyDeal, Tips

This is my personal guide on how I was able to use my paypal in the Philippines. First things first go to paypal and register an account don’t worry its free aside from the pro and business account which you will have to pay.

After registering an account you can you will have an unverified account well you can attach some credit cards some will work and some won’t.

In my experience I used EON card from Union Bank which offers a paypal support. I tried several times checking the Union Bank website for the online registration unfortunately it was always down. So instead I went to bank to fill up some forms. You will need some valid id’s at least two just to make sure and have them photo copied. After this you will be asked to wait for 2 weeks till you get you card take not that the card will cost you 350 pesos.

So after getting the card you will have to wait for it to get activated you can do so by depositing from your account at least 500 pesos. And while waiting go to Union Bank site again and enroll your card for online banking.

After your card is activated go to paypal and add your card so you can have it verified once your account is added there is a preliminary cost but don’t worry it will be refunded.

Paypal will ask you for the expuse no. which can be obtained by emailing union bank, calling their customer support or the easies check your transactions on the ebanking ofUnion Bank there you will see the expuse no.

Once this entire are accounted you will have your working paypal account in the Philippines and if you are transacting like withdrawing from the card it usually takes 5 working this for the transaction to be completed and the amount to appear on your card.
