Iloilo OTOP Fair 2010
Local Products Showcase at the Iloilo OTOP Fair 2010
In line with the continuous effort to promote and develop small and medium enterprises in the province, the Department of Trade and Industry-Iloilo Provincial Office (DTI-Iloilo PO) in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development (SMED) Foundation, Inc., and the Business Counselors League of Iloilo (BCLI), once again implements the Iloilo OTOP SME Fair 2010 as one of the highlights in the celebration of the SME Week.
Now on its fifth year, the fair will run on 12-18 July 2010 at the Activity Center of SM City-Iloilo. A total of 35 exhibitors will join the fair including guest- exhibitors from Aklan, Antique and Guimaras. SMEs from these provinces manifest their unity with SMEs in Iloilo and look up to the province as the major market of their products in the region.
An opening program will be held at the Lower Ground Floor of SM City on 12 July 2010 with Advocate of Philippine Fair Trade, Inc. (APFTI) President and Executive Director Vicente Roaring and newly-elected Local Chief Executives, Governor Arthur D. Defensor and City Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog as the honored guests. Expected to be present are the Mayors of Iloilo and officers and members of the SMED Foundation and DTI.

The Iloilo SMED Foundation, Inc. is a multi-agency entity composed of government and private sector representatives that contributes to the promotion and development of MSMEs.
